Chaoticom Wins ''Best Contribution to Mobile Music 2004'' and ''Best of Show'' Awards at MEF Conference

Chaoticom, Inc. announced today that Chaoticom and partner Praha were selected for "Best Contribution to Mobile Music 2004" by Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF). This award recognized the groundbreaking work in launching the Jukebox Music Downloading Service based on the Chaoticom Mobile Music Solution. The award was announced during the prestigious Mobile Entertainment Awards at Mobile Entertainment Market (MeM), June 2-3, London's Business Design Center.

Chaoticom and Praha were also voted MEF "Best in Show 2004", a special recognition award, chosen by conference attendees using SMS voting.

"The MEF is pleased to recognize Chaoticom and Praha for their breakthrough contribution to mobile music in 2004" said Ralph, Americas Chairman, Mobile Entertainment Forum. "The emergence of mobile music downloading services such as Jukebox is good news for the record industry at a critical time."

Judges included journalists from Music Week, MCV, New Media Age, and Baskerville, among others. "Mobile music is the hottest area in the digital entertainment industry right now. The Baskerville/Informa Media Mobile Music report estimates the value of the ring tone market at US$3 billion this year, with more mobile music services on the way this could be the tip of the iceberg," says Steve Mayall, one of the MEF award judges and co-author of the report. "Chaoticom has made great strides in a short space of time towards making real, legal recordings available to mobile phones. For this reason the judges felt that Chaoticom's contribution to mobile music deserves to be recognised."
